Event Recap: The Brunch Club - The Value of Vision - seeing, planning, creating

On the 4th of September we gathered for the 12th edition of The Brunch Club.

THE SUPPORT BEHIND THE BRUNCH CLUB

As always, the event simply would not have been possible without the support of all the collaborators, sponsors and helping hands…

A big thank you to our panelists Eva and Katia for letting us into their creative minds and sharing their thoughts, reflections and tips on the topic. Thank you as well to Racines for the delicious brunch buffet, to P.B. Coffee for serving us perfect lattes, to Happy Maple for sweetening our coffee cups, to Luana for the photos, to Domaine Gaillard for the space, to Hand-lettered by Lama, Green Up & SIRADIS for the goodies in our goodie bag… and every single one of you for coming!

Now onto the event recap…

THE BRUNCH CLUB BEGAN WITH A GENTLE YOGA FLOW

AND WE CLOSED OFF THE YOGA WITH A VISUALISATION MEDITATION

THE BRUNCH CLUB CONTINUED WITH A PANEL DISCUSSION

The topic of the Brunch Club was: The Value of Vision - seeing, planning, creating. We spoke with event and experience designer Eva Monnier and Graphic Designer Katia Cuerva.

If you missed the discussion, here were some of the highlights:

  • Creativity can be applied to many different fields but doesn’t have to lead to anything “productive”

  • Beauty is a spiritual experience which allows us to be present and slow down time

  • There is a unique balance between creating a vision for the future and leaving space for opportunity

  • Creating a vision for yourself is a way of limiting possibility in a healthy way and maintaining focus

  • Having a vision for yourself allows you to connect with a future version of yourself and start showing up as her/him today

  • Having a vision is having intention and remaining connected to it

  • To create something out of nothing you need: courage, community, intention & passion

AFTER THE MOVING, LISTENING & TALKING… CAME THE BRUNCHING

We enjoyed a beautiful vegan brunch by Racines.

…AND THE CAFFEINATING

With our bellies full of good food and minds & hearts full of inspiration, we left with goodie bags full of goodies from Hand-lettered by Lama, Green Up & SIRADIS.

Hand-lettered by Lama created unique hand-painted decorative rocks for each participant. Green Up treated us to a raw cacao energy ball and a coupon code and SIRADIS jam-packed our goodie bags with tons of healthy snacks like granola bars, vegan chocolate, plant-based sour candies, all-natural gum and more…
